FOCUS ON ONE COURSE AT A TIME
Many people, when they first start out in the world of eCourses, have grand ambitions for an online presence that offers multiple programs. For example, let’s say you are running a web-design eCourse. Maybe you have ambitions to have a WordPress course, a course on PHP, a course on HTML… the list can go on. However, when our clients first come to us and they have this “I want to do it all” attitude, we slow them down and make sure they FOCUS.
The problem with focusing on more than one course at a time is that it’s a growth strategy that spreads your already limited resources even thinner. What often ends up happening is that you find yourself over-stretched, behind schedule and compromising the quality of your courses.
E-COURSE DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM FOR INCREASING CHANCES OF SUCCESS
We ask our clients to follow one course until success. That’s not to say however that they can’t have more than one course. Many of our clients have 3-5 courses in their portfolio. But each new course was only designed after the success of the previous course and each course is designed and launched using a phase-gate model (a popular product development system) for optimizing the chances of the eCourse’s success. Not only that, but each course you add to your roster will require integration into your current learning management software which takes time to do well.
